As part of our commitment to health and fitness, Digital Smartworks launched a new initiative in Nov. 2009, the One in a Million Marathon Challenge.

Pledge to run or walk a marathon or half marathon in 2010 and get a chance to send $500,000 to your favorite charities this year!  (possibility of $250,000 per site -- men and women)

Digital Smartworks has been an in-kind donor of website services since the local council of Girls on the Run began in 2007.  Digital Smartworks donates hosting, email, and website maintenance and updates on a pro bono basis.

Girls on the Run is a character development program that uses running to develop self-esteem and healthy habits in young girls.  The mission of Girls on the Run is to educate and prepare girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living.
