Company Overview:

Digital Smartworks, LLC was formed in 2008 as a collaborative partnership between Afterpoint, Inc. and BlackDot Software, LLC.  Digital Smartworks is a family-owned, Kansas City based business run by the husband and wife team of Jim and Kristine Simmermon.  Our team of employees and contractors bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in a wide range of industries and projects.

Outside the office: 

Jim Simmermon is an avid cyclist, and began running half marathons in 2007 with his wife. He has completed two half marathons and hopes to complete the Seattle to Portland bike ride and a marathon in the coming year.

Kristine Simmermon is a 5-time marathon finisher and is currently training for her sixth marathon in 2011.  She has raised thousands of dollars for charity since her marathon hobby began in 2004.
